Patients who are ready to pursue solutions for their hearing loss should schedule a thorough examination with us. During these examinations, we'll conduct tests to determine what kind of hearing loss you have, how severe it is, and what we can do to help it. These tests take about an hour. We recommend that patients continue having a thorough examination every two years.

Contact us today for the following and more:
  • Hearing Tests and Evaluations
  • Speech test: Your hearing care professional will test your ability to hear and repeat words spoken at different sound thresholds. This is sometimes done in conjunction with background noise.
  • Uncomfortable Loudness testing ( This is sometimes skipped by other offices, but very important)
  • Hearing Aid Fitting and Training
  • Tinnitus Evaluation
  • Hearing Aid Repairs
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

Many of our new patients are curious about what to expect during their first appointment. Typically, the initial appointment begins with a comprehensive interview. We will discuss what kinds of problems you may be having and if you are currently trying anything to treat them. This interview helps our us understand each patient’s history and is useful in directing the rest of the testing and treatment. In this interview, we will discuss next steps and what can be done to resolve any issues.

The next portion of any first appointment is testing. The types of tests will be specific to your symptoms and condition. We may test for hearing loss, tinnitus, sound sensitivity, or general hearing.

After the testing and evaluation, we will share our initial diagnosis and discuss treatment options, so you can make an informed decision concerning your treatment plan. We conduct a decision-making session where we discuss your results and how you can reduce your symptoms and increase your quality of life. Here is where we decide the appropriate next steps, which may mean therapy, hearing aids, or other methods of treatment.

We offer treatment and devices on-site, which makes it easy for us to create an individual treatment plan for our patients from the initial visit to follow up and maintenance appointments.

Tinnitus (Ringing in the Ears) Management

Will hearing aids help with tinnitus? Hearing aids are the best way to deal with tinnitus. About half the people who use hearing aids get instant relief from the ringing, buzzing, or humming in the ears. This is usually accomplished with a tinnitus masker, which comes with many of the devices at Hearing Aid Care Center.
Hearing Aid Repair and Maintenance

With our lifetime service, hearing aids purchased from us have no hidden costs to service. We recommend having a hearing test every two years to make sure the hearing aid is running the best it can so you hear at your best. No appointment is needed for cleanings and we recommend cleanings every three months. If your hearing aid has to be repaired, just bring it by the office and we have loaners so you do not have to go without hearing.
